要旨：

我々は、Knowledge Managementのための、知識流通と、蓄積・利用に関して議論する。知識流通は、コミュニティを通じて行われるという議論が一般的である。コミュニティにおける、知識の流通メカニズムには、いくつかの異なる形態があると考えられる。そこで、我々は、知識コミュニティを、コモンズ的性質、マーケット的性質の枠組みで分析し、参加者の行動原理とコミュニティの性質に関して、議論する。 次に、知識の蓄積、利用の基盤として、Project Profileに基く方法を提案する。Project Profileに注目するのは、知識はその背景・メタレベルにある、Contextと共に扱う必要があるということに基いている。従来の、スキルズインベントリや個人ホームページを中心とした情報蓄積では、知識の背景にある組織的、時間的な位置付けができないため、知識間の関連性が明確にできず、問題解決の手段として利用できない。 企業がKnowledge Managementを成功させるためには、知識の流通、蓄積そして利用に必要な基盤の基礎的性質を明らかにし、それらに基いた、システムを構築する必要がある。本研究の分析は、企業がKnowledge Managementを成功させるための、基礎的知見を与える。

Abstract:

We are to discuss a distribution, accumulation and use of knowledge in knowledge management. First, the distribution of knowledge may be observed in various forms in a knowledge community due to the distribution mechanism. As a result of observation, we propose a framework to classify the knowledge community into two types: i.e. a commons type and a market type respectively. We also characterize action principles of participants in the knowledge community. Next, we propose a methodology to develop a knowledge management system based on a project profile as a basis for accumulation and use of knowledge. A feature of our proposal is to treat knowledge with context, namely with its background locating in a meta-level. Current practice of knowledge management, however, remains in a level to store a mere information sharing and an accumulation of documents. Our methodology would provide an effective perspective for an enterprise to survive in a market. Results of our research may give fundamental knowledge to an enterprise to make knowledge management successful.
